Producer prices in Latvia fell by 0.5% year-on-year in June 2025, slipping from a downwardly revised 0.4% rise in the previous month.

This marked the first month of producer deflation since January, mainly due to higher costs for mining and quarrying (8.5% vs 7.5% in May) and manufacturing (1.7% vs 1.4%).

On the other hand, prices declined further for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-13.3% vs -7.8%), while it slowed for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (9.3% vs 9.7%).

On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased by 0.5% in June, the fourth month of drop and deepening from a revised 0.1% loss in the preceding period.
