I think all prime ministers of Malta had this kind of attitude towards the rest of the nation when there were power cuts during their term. Hopefully the work done this year will help improve matters a little

I think so many had their mar id-dawl memes/posts ready to go for this summer (fully expecting a nightmare like last year and the year before) that when the tiniest dimming of light or a planned cut happens they put them out anyways.
Not a big fan of politicians mind you, but so far it has been much better. My power has not been off this summer, and the longest power cuts (2/3 hours max) I’ve heard about were all planned ones.
