  1. If they could implement silent fireworks, they can fire them off as often as they like and I wouldn’t care. The constant loud boom boom of the summer makes me genuinely want to tear out my non-existent hair and terrifies my dog for months.

    Yes. When I’m living in Malta, that’s my thought too. *”This place could use some more fireworks”*

  3. When I was a night shift worker in Malta I despised this, but I realised that, despite being a tax payer, I was still a guest in your country so I kept it to myself.

    It is the animals I felt sorry for though, they don’t know or care that it is your culture, they are just afraid.

    Culture or not, a little respect for others, would go a long way. After all, a lot of the people working nights are taking care of you when you are sick, providing your power and water, stocking the shelves in your grocery stores, driving your ambulances and protecting you while you sleep.

    Everybody, deserves uninterrupted rest, but BOOM!! is awesome, right?
