Malta international midfielder Paul Mbong has agreed to join Serbian side Cukaricki.
In the last few weeks, Mbong has been looking to join an overseas club after his contract with Birkirkara ended at the end of the season.
The forward was approached by Serbian club Cukaricki and an agreement was reached that saw the player put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
FK Cukaricki have just kicked off their domestic commitments in the Serbian Premier League last Saturday when they overcame the challenge of Napredak 1-0.
They will again be in action on Sunday when they face Belgrade-based club FK IMT.
Mbong will be looking to force his way into Cukaricki’s first team as he looks to leave his mark in the Serbian Super Liga.
At Cukaricki, Mbong will be playing alongside Nenad Tomovic who had a spell with Italian Serie A side Fiorentina.
