It has been like that for a while lol The Polish passport is actually one of the strongest in the world.
reasons why:
1. good relations with most former eastern bloc countries. they granted us prefferencial treatment back in the day, and most never had a reason to remove it.
2. poland was one of the first countries to recognise palestine (because the soviets supported it), so a lot of muslim countries we otherwise have little to do with gave us better treatment
3. poland fully joined the western world, nato, eu, etc. which opens doors to the west.
4. poland has no enemies besides russia and their puppets, nobody simply has a reason to hate us.
