Bosnia and Herzegovina’s industrial production rose by 2.6% year-on-year in June 2025, ending a six-month streak of declines and rebounding from a 0.8% decline in the previous month.

The improvement was primarily driven by a recovery in intermediate goods (3.8% vs -1.9% in May) and a markedly smaller contraction in energy output (-0.1% vs -10.7%).

However, weakness persisted in other segments, with a further decline in consumer durables (-32.7% vs -28.4%), and slower gains in both capital goods (14.4% vs 21.6%) and consumer non-durables (1.2% vs 2.4%).

On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output increased by 2.0% in June, reversing a 3.2% decline in May.
