Laughably, this is tied to a goal of US AI global dominance.
The EU's new AI Act prohibits algorithmic manipulation designed to distort a person’s decision-making through deceptive or manipulative techniques. Banning the reality of climate change, or indeed any progressive viewpoints, is most certainly that.
Such an AI will be illegal under EU law, so it will be rejected by Europe. China has its own AI, and won't be interested in this inferior product either. Who does that leave that might welcome it? Perhaps Orban's Hungary & Milei's Argentina. Orban will champion it, but Hungary is in the EU, so that won't go very far.

Lol. So much winning for AI corporations . Only to see their big investments becoming nothing as the rest of the developed world turns away and anyone with more than 3 brain cells not believing a thing their schooled AI burps out

Fascinating that they can simultaneously want an AI that validates their bias with no regard for reality/truth but also want the US to win the AI race. Like: oh yeah, you’ll win that race so hard with mechaHitler telling you and only you what you want to hear as the rest of the world uses some actually useful models.
All the folks whose views align with the AI are going to prison. And AI was heavily tilted toward the criminal so yeah, tweaks were needed. Illegal in the EU? EU corporations have been keeping close with the poor ways workers have been treated in the US and keep pushing boundaries too. Doubt they’ll let this opportunity slip away as it helps them lay off people and justify outsourcing jobs too.

Pretty much everything is illegal in the EU – that’s why EU does not exist on the AI map. Until recently there was one EU company among the leading labs – Mistral. Now it essentially dropped off the race.

When I use chat gpt, or any other American Ai, I dont get right wing vibes, quite the opposite. I just find them to be very silicon valley in their politics.
I have to use local ai and basically trick them into giving me a response, if I want it purely based on logic, usually they lean hard left on everything except israel-palestine.

Try mistral as a base line it’s from France and gives very similar answers to chat gpt and llama.
And tbh if you do want to fight ai leanings, use and promote only open-source AI. It will be the only hope for a fair and equal future.
