i did something similar for a friend. Find an exact match on second hand websites like ebay.. etc Try to match the serial number and another possibility is that that board has been replaced by a different serial number too… so do some research. The easy solution is:
1: buy an exact match(serial number), in better condition or not.
2: if not in better condition, open up yours and the second hand one you bought and swap the boards inside them, close everything up and install.
3: if you got an exact match (serial number) you shouldn’t even need any re-coding / pairing of the new module.
4: You Win
Edit: Keep in mind do some research on the unit you need changing, as there could be a possibility that its harder to change the board inside.
