First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Ecology and Spatial Planning, Izet Mexhiti, held a meeting with the youth of Chair.

Mexhiti said that Albanian youth in North Macedonia are not only present, but increasingly seek and find their place in society.

“Their energy, ideas, and courage are the greatest inspiration for every step we take forward,” said Mexhiti, emphasizing that institutional support for youth will not stop.

As part of the conversation about the challenges and needs of the new generation, Mexhiti presented the concrete measures that are already being implemented:

Distribution of vouchers to over 55 thousand students for the purchase of technological equipment;

Construction of a modern campus for Mother Teresa University;

Financial support for universities, including the South East European University;

Approval of the Employment Action Plan, which focuses on supporting new businesses and youth careers;

The Law on Seasonal Employment of Students and Pupils, which guarantees work experience without losing the scholarship;

Strengthening dual education through cooperation with hundreds of local companies;

Investments in modern schools, youth centers, libraries and public swimming pools;

Construction and reconstruction of sports fields in all settlements;

The closure of hundreds of online casinos as a measure to protect young people from addiction.

“Youth is the voice that is growing, and that can no longer be ignored,” declared Mexhiti.
