A Macedonian citizen has been found dead in an apartment where he was staying for vacation in the coastal city of Saranda.
The tragic event, according to the police, occurred on July 26, in neighborhood number 1 of the city.
“The police in Saranda have announced that the victim, identified as OJ (20), was found by his family while he was in the apartment where he was staying during his stay in Albania, the media reported.
A preliminary examination of the body revealed no signs of violence. It is suspected that the young man died of natural causes, but an autopsy will have to confirm the cause.
Authorities continue investigations to clarify all the circumstances of this tragic event.
This is the second tragic end of a citizen from Macedonia during his stay in Albania.
A Macedonian citizen (66 years old) also drowned on Kavaja beach. According to the police, he suffered a heart attack after entering the sea.
