      I know a number of people taking the offer at JSC. The mood at NASA is about as low as possible. There is no long term plan and the few projects that get funding (Orion) are little more than jobs programs for voting blocks.

      When the station gets decommissioned, we will be paying a fortune to keep NASA running at there won’t be much going on …

      I hate this timeline.

        Ignorance and stupidity is winning.  All the brilliant work we have done that distinguished us in the eyes of the scientific community is being wiped away.

      And there go the last dregs of the our space program. USA is never going back to the moon in my lifetime…

      Probably moving to the European, Japanese, or even Chinese programs. America has taught me one thing: My only loyalty is to money and not flag.

      When all this is over and the govt has to rebuild…there are going to be some well paying jobs lol….someone is going to have to rebuild this unprecedented destruction

      India has some of the best and brightest engineers on the world right now and 4,000 is like one classroom for them… just sayin’

      As an employee who took the DRP I can tell you that this nation is in desperate need of another Sputnik moment. We are a nation that has taken nearly everything for granted and have learned the incorrect lessons in our complacency. We need to be beat to become better.

      When they say Make America Great Again, I guess they aren’t referring to the programs that made America great. I wonder what they mean then…
