Three new cases of the mosquito-borne West Nile virus were reported over the past week, bringing the total since the start of the summer to seven and showing an uptick in infections.
Of those seven cases, the origin of one was traced to Serbia, with the other five being narrowed down to West Attica.
The seventh case concerned a patient in Ilia in the northwestern Peloponnese.
