Tired of getting supermarket flyers in my letterbox, so I made a site to view them online instead

As some locals may relate, receiving tons of junk mail in your letterbox is still very much a thing here. I was fed up with constantly throwing away flyers/magazines and was one step away from sticking a ‘No Junk’ sticker. Having said that, I still wanted to glance through seasonal offers (either to check out Lidl’s new seasonal stuff or simply to skim through discounts at nearby supermarkets).

So out of pure frustration (and to avoid reading these magazines over my recycling bin ever again), I built a simple website called prezz.mt. It gathers and displays all the supermarket flyers in Malta and sends out a free weekly email with the latest ones. My hope is that this contributes to less paper waste and leaves mailboxes clear for the important stuff, while still making it easy to see weekly offers from all leading supermarkets.
