A 7-year-old child from Kosovo, who had been separated from his parents while on vacation at the beach in Shëngjin, was found safe and sound thanks to the immediate response of the State Police and coastal watchers.
The incident occurred during noon today, when the Operations Room of the Lezha Police Department received a call from a vacationer from Kosovo, who reported that her son was missing and could not be found. Immediately after the notification, the Shëngjin Police structures, including bicycle patrols and teams of observers, began searching the surrounding area.
After nearly an hour of intensive searching, the child was located by police officers and handed over to his family in good health. The minor’s mother thanked the authorities for the quick response and effective coordination, which made possible the safe return of her son.
The State Police emphasizes the importance of parental vigilance in beach areas and guarantees maximum commitment to public safety during the tourist season.
