Hellenic Natural Gas Distribution Company (Hengas), the first private company in Greece with a gas distribution license, is receiving 9 million euros in financing through the Public Investment Program to develop the natural gas distribution network in Western Macedonia, with a total budget of 14 million euros.

    The company is developing a 41-kilometre-long network in Velvento, Voio and Servia, connecting 200 consumers, and is expanding the network in Deskati by approximately 3,800 metres to reach 400 consumers.

    The funding is provided under the National Development Program 2021–2025.
