Macedonia officially welcomes US Defense official: With the US, Kosovo strengthens security and regional role

The Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, received with high state honors the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense of the United States, David A. Baker, in a meeting that focused on deepening cooperation between Kosovo and the United States in the field of defense and security.
The Macedonian said that the discussions took place in the context of current security challenges in the region and globally, highlighting the progress that has been made since the last meeting, especially in the field of co-production with the US and the development of the defense industry in Kosovo.
“With the United States as our reliable partner, Kosovo enjoys increased security and plays an important role in promoting peace and stability, both regionally and globally,” Macedonci declared.
He added that Kosovo remains committed to taking this partnership to even higher levels, considering this relationship as essential for the country’s strategic development.
