Vučić announces “open” conversation with Macron on “developments in Kosovo”: I underlined our commitment to dialogue

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said he had a “friendly and open conversation” with French President Emmanuel Macron on bilateral relations and regional issues.
Vučić said that he spoke with Macron “especially in light of the current developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.” He said he underlined Serbia’s “commitment” to dialogue.
“I emphasized that Serbia remains committed to all processes aimed at preserving peace, cooperation and prosperity, and I reiterated that the development of the country, the prosperity, as well as the protection of the Serbian people, are our main national interests. I underlined our commitment to dialogue and respect for international law, as well as our readiness to contribute to the long-term stability of the region,” the Serbian president wrote in a Facebook post.
He said he thanked Macron for his “personal commitment to Western Balkan issues,” as well as for the “continuous support” that he said “France gives to Serbia on its European path.”
