Horrific for all who witnessed that and the guys loved ones obviously. I have sat on the top tier front row at Wembley before and the thought of a fall did go through my mind.

  2. Place is a fucking deathtrap, I went with my disabled friend a couple years ago to watch the wrestling and we get to the very top and if it wasn’t for the good graces of a person sat there grabbing my friend, he would have tumbled to his death. We got seats near the ground the year after. Place needs condemning.

  3. I was there last night sitting in the top tier of seating and people were absolutely wankered, a bloke near us collapsed, tumbled over a couple of seats and had to be evacuated by the medics – everywhere you looked people were out of their minds, I did occur to me that all it would take is one wrong step up there and you’d be a goner.

    Bloody great gig though

RIP to that guy. Wonder if they will pay tribute to him next time they play Liver Forever like they did with Diogo Jota and Ozzy. I doubt it, but just a thought.

  5. Will never understand getting absolutely plastered at a gig. It’s insanely expensive, you probably won’t remember any of the music, and you’re probably being a tool to those around you. By all means have yourself a couple of drinks, get merry, but there is no need to be drinking so much you’re falling down.

  6. Was at the O2 pretty high up and recall feeling v unsafe trying to get to my seat.

Why are there not rails or barriers at waist height in every row so that ifi you trip or stumble you don’t topple down the seating?

This is horrible. And I know how much people drink and use cocaine in England, and how these things are normalized and considered harmless or “just a British style” between giggles (cocaine? harmless? Control? Weekend habit? It doesn’t take much to assume addiction). I would like that death could arise awareness about stadium projects (it can happen, that project should not be any easier to have a deadly fall at first place) and about using substances at shows, around so many other people, being extremely individualistic ( that I don’t think that can happen so soon).
