Why was there such a huge gender gap in the second round of the presidential election? Nawrocki did worse than Duda with the women’s vote but Trzaskowski did far worse than HIMSELF with the men’s vote.

That’s because we’re entering an era where Gen Z are getting more radicalised. Gen Z men tend to lean very right almost far right meanwhile Gen Z women tend to lean very left almost far left in the modern political system.

      Hope that helps

As a woman – I think the 2020 abortion ban opened our eyes to what these people are about. Before 2020, I didn’t think this would happen.
      Can’t speak about men’s vote.

    3. Young men are the core “protest vote” right now. Duda and PIS were representatives of establishment in 2020. In 2025 Duda was out anyway, and PIS was not in power. My take is that if PIS was still in power, Trzaskowski would win that one.

PIS’s propaganda focused on that anti-establishment sentiment and were able to show their politician as neutral.

Well Trzaskowski is sexist (against men) so that’s why they didn’t vote for him

It’s like this in the whole world? I’m surprised the difference is not bigger. The abortion topic is quite big for for many women (and men too). They feel like politics doesn’t care about their health, but more about religious doctrines.

    6. 1. Trzaskowski was in favor of increasing censorship while Nawrocki openly claimed he won’t sign that bill.

      2. Trzaskowski’s campaign was centered about women issues which gave many men sense of being ignored

      3. Trzaskowski was viewed as more pro-LGBT candidate and many conservative leaning male voters didn’t like it.

I was initially in favor of Trzaskowski until I sat down and listened through a couple of his interviews. But you can see also in every poland post how stating this or why you would not vote for Trzaskowski or in favor of Nawrocki gets you downvoted to oblivion since reddit is inherently extreme left.

So why even ask that if noone is interested in any kind of discourse to begin with, just keep banning the right side surely the echochamber will become reality xd

Because Tusk was afraid to put Sikorski as a candidate. Radek would take some od those righty votes
