Country Hitmaker Earns Major Career Honor: ‘A Whole Other Level’ originally appeared on Parade.

Thomas Rhett is still reeling over his latest career accomplishment.

The 35-year-old country crooner recently received a diamond award for his 2015 hit song “Die a Happy Man”β€”and he said the award still feels “surreal” to him.

Rhett wrote the popular love song about his wife Lauren Akins, whom he has been married to since 2012. Together, the spouses share four daughters: Willa Gray, Ada James, Lennon Love and Lillie Carolina.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate his new milestone achievement, Rhett wrote, “Receiving a diamond award for a song I wrote about my wife is surreal.”

He also shared a photo of himself holding the certified diamond award while on the field at Fenway Park in Boston, Mass., where he was officially presented with the honor.

“To get this award handed to me on the pitchers mound at Fenway took it to a whole other level,” Rhett continued, while adding a “Massive shoutout to everyone involved on this song.”

“Forever grateful for yall that listened to this song over the years πŸ™Œ,” Rhett’s caption concluded, while his followers rushed to the comments to send congratulations his way.

“SO DESERVING!!!!πŸ₯Ή” one of his fans gushed under the post, while another follower added, “congrats man. what a milestone.”

“Congratulations TR! What an absolutely beautiful song. πŸ’ž” another fan wrote.
