Hawaiian Airlines’ fleet of two dozen Airbus A330 aircraft will be retrofitted to accommodate the carrier’s first premium economy cabin.
New interiors will also have updated lie-flat seats in business class and upgraded seats in the main cabin.
Parent company Alaska Air Group did not provide a timeline for the retrofits, but said it will be making a substantial investment “over the next few years,” and that Airbus 330 widebody planes will remain dedicated to Hawaii flying.
