Montenegrin and Bosnian media report a secret Grenell-Dodik meeting in Montenegro

According to information provided by the Montenegrin media, Antenna M, the convicted and until yesterday the president of the entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, met secretly today with the former US special envoy for the Balkans, Richard Grenell.
The meeting took place at the “One and Only” hotel, and a US congresswoman from the Republican Party was also present.
Montenegrin media emphasize that the state of Montenegro was not involved in the organization of this meeting.
The plane of the Government of the Republic of Serbia returned from Montenegro this evening, which was also recorded by the civil aviation tracking application ADSB, reports klix.ba.
Grenell, who in Donald Trump’s second administration was mentioned for several important state functions – including those of secretary of state, head of the CIA, or special envoy for Latin America and the Far East – served as special envoy for the Balkans and Kosovo during Trump’s first term.
However, in the end he was forced to accept the position of chairman of the Board of Directors of the legendary Kennedy Center, from which, after his appointment and Trump’s assumption of power, all important figures of American culture left.
Although in a “lower position” than expected, Grenell remained very close to the US president and is often seen in photos and videos from Trump’s Florida residence.
He has also remained an unofficial broker for the Balkans for the Trump family, especially in their business interests in Serbia and Albania.
