This Friday the 8th of August is a big day in the cycling calendar. Besides the Volta a Portugal, there are four big pro races taking place and in many of which they will be decisive days. At the Tour de Pologne stage stage 5 into Zakopane will be an important day for race leader Paul Lapeira who crashed hard only two days ago; At the Vuelta a Burgos stage 4 could end in a sprint but a late attack could mix things up quite a lot; At the Tour de l’Ain the race ends today with another mountain stage which includes the 15-kilometer ascent to the Grand Colombier where Nicolas Prodhomme and Cian Uijtdebroeks will fight for the overall win; And lastly at the Tour of Norway’s second stage the peloton faces a final circuit with a long gravel sector into Sorreisa which should be quite explosive.
