Shkelqim Devolli and Richard Grenell discuss economic cooperation and current US-Kosovo relations

During his stay in the Western Balkans region, Richard Grenell, US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for Missions, held a meeting with Shkëlqim Devolli, shareholder of Devolli Corporation.

They focused on several issues of strategic importance. At the center of the talks were opportunities to boost economic growth in Kosovo through foreign investment, trade cooperation, and initiatives that strengthen the private sector.

Entrepreneur Devolli shared Devolli Corporation’s vision for expanding its activities and contributing to the country’s economic development. He emphasized the importance of creating a favorable environment for businesses, as well as the need for international support to accelerate the growth of strategic sectors for the country.

For his part, Envoy Grenell reaffirmed the Trump 2 administration’s commitment to supporting Kosovo and the Western Balkans in general. He emphasized that the United States remains committed to promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region through economic cooperation and political dialogue. Grenell emphasized the important role of the private sector in Kosovo, considering it a key driver for economic development and job creation.
