Osmani meets with Turkish ambassador: Turkey remains an important ally of Kosovo

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani met on Thursday with the Ambassador of Turkey, Sabri Tunç Angılı.
As stated in the presidency’s announcement, the meeting discussed deepening bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on the economy and defense.
Osmani reiterated that Turkey remains an important ally of Kosovo, while expressing gratitude for what she calls its continued support on our country’s Euro-Atlantic path.
“The President emphasized that NATO membership remains the strategic priority of the Republic of Kosovo and that cooperation with Turkey in this regard is essential. President Osmani and Ambassador Tunç Angılı also discussed the need for Turkey’s continued support for Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe and NATO,” the announcement says. /Gazeta Express
