Osmani announces yesterday’s meeting with Prattipati, one of the topics being “the constitution of the Assembly and the next steps”

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani received the US Chargé d’Affaires, Anu Prattipati, in a meeting on Thursday.
Osmani has received a letter from US President Donald Trump, praising him as a true friend.
Along these lines, Osmani expressed her deep gratitude for his support and for the strong words on the partnership with Kosovo.
As stated in the presidency’s announcement, Osmani reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to working closely with President Trump in further deepening the alliance with the United States and advancing common strategic objectives.
The issue of the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly was also discussed.
“President Osmani highly appreciated the news communicated to her last week by US Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau regarding the continuation of the MCC Compact in Kosovo, as a step that will significantly assist the long-term and strategic development of the energy sector, as well as positive developments in terms of Kosovo’s integration into the global digital landscape.”
“Furthermore, President Osmani and Mrs. Prattipati also discussed the latest developments in Kosovo, in particular the issue of the constitution of the Assembly and expectations for further steps.
