They may not have the best record in the WNBA and they may not have Caitlin Clark, but the Indiana Fever are still one of the league’s most fun teams to watch. Lexie Hull has helped a lot with that.

The Fever took on the Chicago Sky today following back-to-back losses. Once again they were without Clark, but that didn’t matter as Hull, Kelsey Mitchell, Sophie Cunningham and Aliyah Boston took over.
While her 17 points were second to Mitchell’s game-leading 26, she was clearly locked in. Hull went an impressive 4-of-6 six on three point attempts, making several shots that were so impressive that even Clark was jumping into the air.
The end result was a dominant performance by the Fever in a 92-70 win.

By the end of the game, she not only had a new season-high for points, she had a new career milestone: 100 career steals.

“Lexi hitting them corner 3’s. Got your mojo back girlie!” another wrote.

A future or current star?
Hull has been a key part of the Fever for the past four seasons now. But in the absence of Caitlin Clark, the team has needed just about everyone to step up.
Fan-favorite Sophie Cunningham has done a good job of replacing Clark on the court, but she isn’t enough on her own.

Hull, Cunningham, Boston and Mitchell will need to keep having nights like tonight if they want to keep this team in WNBA title contention while patiently waiting for Clark to get healthy.
Have we seen the best that this team has to offer?
