Hi, we we’re visiting Misdroy at the baltic sea from Germany.
We parked incorrectly next to other cars and all cars ended up with a wheel clamp on their vehicle. Luckily, the police, or another parking enforcement agency, happened to be there with a vehicle with flashing blue lights.
We had to pay 1000 zloty in cash for parking incorrectly and they removed the clamp. (See Photo)
I understand that we parked incorrectly, but is the fine for parking incorrectly really 1000 zloty?
I unfortunately cant read the ticket so maybe someone can help me.

Art. 90.
§ 1. Kto tamuje lub utrudnia ruch na drodze publicznej, w strefie zamieszkania lub strefie ruchu, podlega karze grzywny do 500 złotych lub karze nagany.
**§ 2. Jeżeli wykroczenia, o którym mowa w § 1, dopuszcza się prowadzący pojazd mechaniczny, podlega karze grzywny nie niższej niż 500 złotych**
It was not about parking, it was about disrupting the normal traffic.
Reason is in last line. Art. 90, paragraph 2 of Code of Offences (KW – Kodeks Wykroczeń) You weren’t finned for parking in wrong place, but for obstructing traffic.
Art. 90. [Stoping or obstructing traffic]
§ 1. Anyone who stops or obstructs traffic on a public road, in a residential zone or traffic zone is subject to a fine of up to PLN 500 or a penalty of reprimand.
§ 2. If the offence referred to in § 1 is committed by the driver of a motor vehicle, he is subject to a fine of not less than PLN 500.
Mandat za nieprawidłowe parkowanie wynosi 100 złotych i policja nigdy go nie daje (chodząc po polskich miastach mogłeś zauważyć że ludzie parkują jak idioci) mandat który dostałeś jest za tamowanie ruchu. Więc są dwie opcje albo zablokowałeś chodnik w strefie zamieszkania albo zatrzymałeś pojazd w miejscu krytycznym dla bezpieczeństwa
If I read it correctly, they’ve fined you for violating article 90 subsection 2 of the Misdemeanour Code. That comes with a **minimum** fine of 500 PLN and maximum of 8 000 PLN.
