So we deny bail for a drunk driver (this is good), but we let a murderer out on bail. Some one explain the logic behind this. The only difference? One was maltese and afforded franco debono. The other was somali so we apply the full force of the law

This country is a fucking joke.

Someone explain: crash into a salon- bail denied. Drive uninsured car, kill and grievously injure another? Go out on bail.

Nah fuck this, this is absolutely psychotic. How could anyone let a murderer out on bail?

Just check who the owner of the Maserati SUV is and you have your answer . ( there aren’t too many Maserati suv registered in Malta )

Bail is given since the accused is still innocent and so is not left in jail for nothing. However this comes with some disadvantages as the accused can

    1. Tamper with evidence while he is still out.
    2. Emigrate or fleeing to another country which makes it more difficult to extridacte him back to Malta. In fact the accused has to sign a bail book daily.

This depends on the case and magistrate in question which can be pursued by the defendant advocate to give bail. Also bail is costly so not everyone can afford it. Also the floriania case advocate is Franco Debono 💰 and the salon case has a legal aid.. Also the salon case accused is foreign so there is a larger posibility of fleeing the country

Who’s the guy’s father?  Maybe that’s the question we should be asking.

  5. …I mean the fact one was Maltese and apparently has money means you answered your own question.
