Was it the villagers that were confused, or was it a bunch of thick-as-pig-shit-dense-mouth-breathing-permenantly-online cretins just wanting to stir up trouble?

Honestly this country has gone the dogs and it’s thanks to fucking facebook.

  2. Its racism all the way down.

Even if they were migrants these are adults abusing children. These people need to give their heads a wobble.

  3. See butch women using toilets and getting spat on for further evidence of how people are being turned into loons by unchecked social media and “news”

  4. The underlying conditioning from Telegraph here is that it would be okay if they were migrants

With this and Rupert Lowe crying at rowers, I don’t think we need much more evidence that this country has lost its mind over this

  6. When I used to volunteer for DofE the teacher that ran it said she had to start pairing the POC kids with white kids because of past incidents where they’d had abuse hurled at them or accused of things if their groups had no white kids in them.

  7. What a pleasant place the UK has become. The “moderate” now sounding worse than UKIP did 10+ years ago and apparently the problem is we’re too nice.

  8. Fake reports that the police were guarding the area , like people will make anything up if it thinks it will justify their cause , fucking scumbags

  9. Years of internet brainrot means people don’t even try to think before they rage. Sad.

  10. What, did they see a load of 4 foot tall children and assume we were taking in asylum seekers from the Shire?

According to many people on here they just have ‘legitimate concerns’ and definitely aren’t racist.

  12. Two quotes from the police:

    > there are some mis-truths circulating on social media which we’d like to correct

    and

    >we’re asking everyone to consider the tone and sentiment of their language

What have either of those things got to do with the police?

  13. So it wasn’t villagers necessarily, the article says it was comments on a video that had been posted online, so could have been anyone that simply wanted to stoke the fires a bit.

  14. This is another reason why we really need to get a handle on illegal immigrants. Nobody wants them in their community, and with the way it’s being handled at the moment, a bus load of non-white people appearing in your community and put up at a scout camp could credibly be the government palming a bunch of them off on you – something which would legitimately be opposed, although I wouldn’t condone shouting at the individuals in question.

Non-white Brits and legitimate immigrants don’t deserve to be lumped in with those people, but they will be if there’s a reasonable suspicion that hotels and other amenities in your area are going to be taken over for that, especially given how poorly communicated it is when a hotel is taken over for asylum seekers.

My sympathies to the victims of this abuse who absolutely don’t deserve it.

  15. This is just like the anti-Irish bigots during the 70s and 80s but they had to talk to get shouted at and spat on. This bigotry and racism is nothing new for Brits.

  16. So, the very sight of tents had them assume it was illegal migrants? Are there illegal migrant camping areas?
