Five days after hitting the streets (and streaming services) with an album called “Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You,” Ethel Cain opened the Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour 2025 with the first show of a two-night stand at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle on Tuesday, Aug. 12.

The setlist featured 10 songs from the new release, welcoming fans with “Willoughby’s Theme” and following through with an opening track titled “Janie” before dusting off both songs released so far as singles – “(Expletive) My Eyes” and “Nettles.”

There were some oldies in the mix, including “Crush” from a 2021 EP called “Inbred” and two songs from Cain’s first full-length effort, “Preacher’s Daughter,” as well as two songs from the self-released side release “Perverts.”
