Fair enough. I don’t think I could stand being in the same room as the prick either, and the security detail he feels the need to travel with would probably turn everything into a complete fucking circus.

  2. The Bull in Charlbury, Oxfordshire if you want to pop in and buy a pint from the good people

I hear they have really nice sofas and didn’t want to clean up after he’d finished.

  4. Obvious c*nt being refused service is not a news item, it’s a standard Friday night.

Edit: removed a stray U that subconsciously snuck in.

Shows you the absolute disregard people have for the current administration in the US. They would rather threaten not to work than serve or cook for the US vice-president. Imagine if Biden or Harris were in that position, would never happen.

  6. Not surprised, he talked shit about our military, our culture and our capital city.

If we’re such a hellhole he should fuck off and holiday elsewhere

  7. I don’t think Kamala forced the staff to give up their phones and social media accounts like Vance secret service staff does.

I would’ve let him in, just to shit in his food tbh. He’s already very familiar with fecal delicacy, so we might as well make him feel welcome by giving him exactly what Trump already does.

  9. When you think pub toilets are bad enough for the staff to deal with and you have the risk of festival portaloo turning up. The staff made the right decision here.

  10. Many years ago, we went out for a meal at Hartwell House near Aylesbury. It was during a visit from one of the Bushes to Chequers, and an entourage of US Secret Service people (presumably they bring shifts of them) was dining in the same restaurant. The restaurant staff were not happy at all about Bush’s visit, and they were deliberately giving us excellent and extremely unsubtly obsequious service, while being frankly rude and obnoxious to the yanks. It was a very amusing evening.

  11. The man is the human equivalent of bot fly larvae. If we could keep smashing stink bombs whenever he’s around that’ll be good also

  12. Do you guys think stuff like this gets to them? I really hope he was bothered about it

  13. Good lads. I’m cursed living here in the US but grew up in the UK. Looking forward to when him and the orange twat get arrested.

Imagine that I am an immigrant and I had to cook food for the notorious leader of a english party that focus only against immigrants. All in a pub in London where only immigrants work. We all felt extremely bad.

  15. Our pubs are meant to be community spaces, not platforms for divisive political figures, especially not one so openly hostile to basic human rights.

I have never been prouder to be British ❤️

Well done to the pub staff. May something good happen to every one of them.

This is so surreal. I posted something similar on another thread but it is so strange for someone who grew up in this area to see JD Vance trouncing around.

I’ve been to this pub dozens of times aha, my cousin used to bloody work there – strange world!

  18. There’s hundreds of pubs that would welcome him and entourage with open arms. Plenty more fish in the sea.

Anything Greenland can do we in the UK can do better….Just wait to see what we’ve got planned for TACO…..

  20. I don’t even think it’s a case of left or right politics. He’s just hated for being a prick.

  21. So did this happen or not? I’m fed up to the fuck of being in this misinformation age. They say he did ask. The police say not. The White House says no. So who the fuck are they who say he did? Where are they? Residents are quoted as not being told by police to do this. So who did ask them? Did the fbi or cia or usss? It was reported as the Americans asking the Brits but this article states no British police were used so is it true or false?

  22. I hope the staff acted like they didn’t know who he was. If he or trump approached me I’d carry on like they are nobody because you know that would hurt them more than anything

  23. Ran pubs for a few years in Australia. We have 3 hard and fast rules. I suspect British pubs are very similar.

No religion. No politics. Don’t be a cunt.

Unfortunately the aforementioned individual fails on at least 2 of those points.

    Dotn fuck with British pubs.

Reminds me of Bamber during WWII where Brits refused American demands to enforce segregation in British pubs. When the Yanks insisted that the pubs not permit racial mixing, the Brits duly agreed…and posted up signs saying that only black American soldiers were allowed in.

  25. Usual_Principle8184 on

They should’ve let him come in, then given him a “special batch” for his pint.

Or just the JFK special at point blank.

  26. Exciting-Music843 on

Well done, those staff, and I assume they will be sorted for drinks from now on!

  27. Individual-Gur-7292 on

Love that! Well done to the staff of that pub for showing that he is absolutely not welcome.

He must have an extraordinarily thin skin if the only way he can enjoy a holiday is to turf everyone out so his delicate little ears don’t hear a word of criticism.

  28. when_this_was_fields on

Wasn’t wearing a suit and hadn’t said thank you enough times. Therefore, barred!

You just know the thin skinned sofa shagger will wait until he is back with his predator boss before slagging this country again. The meme posters, billboards and vans will get under his skin, humour always does with them. The best way to deal with Trump and Vance is to mock them.

  29. This is what needs to happen everywhere these types of people go. Make them unwelcome and let them know you don’t want them there. Eventually they might get the message that your actions have consequences…I doubt it though but one can only live in hope.

  30. So proud of the people that can make this spineless hypocrite feel uncomfortable in this country ❤️

  31. Absolute babies. Why are so many workplaces allowing some emotional children to dictate their policies ?
