    Reddit also has “non-binary” and user-defined genders, are they included in the “unspecified” bucket?

  2. Wow, that’s really interesting. I not what I would have expected for Facebook (but Pinterest and Reddit sure are).

  3. I would have expected TikTok to skew more female but I’m not on the platform so I based that on very little.

  4. Are less women on social media in general? There are more females than males in population size, yet a smaller presence on every social media except Pinterest.

    I’m also surprised Instagram is slightly male leaning. As someone that doesn’t use it, I assumed it would have been similar to Pinterest.

    I’m very curious about the data collection methodology for this, because it doesn’t seem right at all. Surprising if these are accurate.

  6. I’m sorry, but there’s no world where I’d believe men use more social media than women across the board.

    I find it very interesting that despite men being much more conservative, Reddit – the most male dominated platform – is somehow the most left leaning. I wonder why that is
