People keep forgetting that if you suddenly open the floodgates for retail into private markets, PE firms aren’t handing you their best deals. They’ll offload the junk.

Maybe consider scaling it by market cap instead revenue. That’s ultimately how investors think about allocation (how much equity and debt are investable)

I mean how much of that private number is small family owned businesses? It’s looking at all business not conducted by private companies, not the assets of private equity.
