Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, made a statement before the continuation of the Assembly session, following the publication of the Constitutional Court’s ruling..

He said that this verdict has clarified that open voting is needed.

“We will return to parliament after the Court’s decision, it is already known that it has been clarified that there should be an open vote and at the same time it has been clarified that a candidate who does not receive the vote cannot run more than three times, and the 30-day deadline is also the same,” Haradinaj declared.

He said that they do not have a vote for Albulena Haxhiu, but they do have a vote for another candidate from the LVV, who according to Haradinaj is unifying.

“If today were Konjufca or Saranda, or Shqipe Hetemi, we would vote,” said Haradinaj.

When asked if the Assembly could not be constituted even after 30 days, he said that the intention of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, would be confirmed.

“Unfortunately, I believe that his goal has not changed, it is to continue to hold Kosovo hostage, to rule Kosovo illegally, to hold Kosovo hostage,” said Haradinaj.
