    1. Of course there will be no Rwanda flights, even more stupid than all of brexit.

    2. Really was all just a stupid waste of time and money. Kind of like the tories entire goverment

That’s a convenient way to say that they weren’t going to happen anyway but that it’s *totally* not because I fucked up with this whole plan, it’s just because of the election.

      Lol, who buys this shit?

    4. >But the PM has now said they will go “if I’m re-elected” on 4 July.

After months of forcing this ridiculous scheme through and even abusing parliamentary sovereignty by overruling the supreme court, it’s now nothing more than something to hold hostage. Maybe that’s all it ever was.

    5. This is the most obviously corrupt policy in UK history. Bribes and back handers for a project that makes the British look like far right scum and was never going to affect immigration. Everyone involved should be thoroughly investigated and all the money spent should be checked and accounted for. Then all the criminals involved (Tory MPs) should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Rwanda have played a blinder here. We have built affordable homes for their people, gave them huge sums of money and they will only ever take one person…a volunteer! If we can find an even dumber nation to give us the same deal, that may solve the migrant situation forever…

    7. What a shock. Who could have possibly predicted this. So glad we pissed away hundreds of millions of pounds to do nothing but satisfy some racist head-bangers rather than on anything productive like addressing the various crises ongoing in our public services.

    8. These Tories really haven’t got a clue. First, they introduce Brexit, which has set the UK back years, and now then want to send unfortunate asylum seekers to Rwanda.

Maybe we should send the Tories to Rwanda and be done with it.

lol ofc not, what a complete waste of money on an utterly bonkers plan. 4th of July, time to get the fireworks ready.

      So much premeditation with this..

Flights to start within 10-12 weeks.. this was just a few weeks ago.

Did he lie back then?? It’s close.

Wait and see the announcement just days before the election.. “flight is going next week.. bruh but you gots to vote me in innit, otherwise it won’t happen and labour will let them lose in your streets”.

    11. I was wondering ‘Why Now'(?).

ThisĀ  is why, because the whole Rwanda scheme has already failed, and an election now avoids an election where it’s obvious how badly the Tories have failed on Rwanda.

Which ignores how badly they’ve failed at everything, pretty much the whole time they’ve been in power.
