We opened the door closed for decades to the underground parking lot at the Museum, putting into operation an important space that will serve the citizens, businesses and visitors of the Skopje Bazaar. This was stated today during a visit to the Museum of North Macedonia, Deputy Prime Minister Izet Mexiti, accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Zoran Lutkov, while adding that the underground parking lot is being opened at the Museum’s premises.
“For decades, in the heart of the Skopje Bazaar, there has been a parking space at the Museum, which has been closed and unused. A real opportunity for citizens, businesses and visitors, which previous governments did not want to put into operation, even though the need was great. Today, after the takeover of the government by VLEN, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, and Minister Zoran Lutkov, we are making the opening of this underground parking a reality.
“Where for years an essential service was intentionally kept closed, today the citizens and businesses of the Bazaar will have a large parking space in operation,” said Mexhiti.
This, he added, is the difference between us and those who came before us: where they did not want to open the doors of opportunity, we are opening them for citizens. “Where they left the Bazaar without support, we are making it a priority. The opening of this parking lot is a clear example of our governance: tangible work, visible results and decisions that make the lives of citizens and businesses easier.”
