Just poured this water from the kitchen sink after a shutoff in Batumi. Haven’t had our water look like this in the past. What’s wrong with it?

Just a theory, but if they shut the water off it’s possible that they were working on the pipes, so if they sawed off a piece of the pipes the metal dust and dirt might have gotten in the pipe and you just need to let the water run.
I could be wrong tho and it could be something completely different
After shut offs let water run for a good 30 minutes.
That’s normal after a shut off.
Tap water was never really drinkable in Batumi. And after a water outage you need to let it run for a while.
After shut offs you have to let water run for at least 10 minsn

They should clean the water with chlorine, if not just wait for some time, and it will clear up. These happens somewhat often in some places. They probably didn’t clear up the pipes fully, after work ( which is why it was cut off ).
Tap Water in most places is good to drink, but if your are foreigner and not used to local microbiomes, it’s better to buy mineral/regular bottled in bulk.
