>Johnson, who said that he was “intoxicated” at the time and “had no real explanation for why he shouted the phrase at the match official”.
Apart from him being a twat?
>Although Johnson admitted shouting “get your baps out, ref” from the touchline during the set-up of a line-out, he denied adding “show us your boobs”. However, the panel were content that “made no difference to the appropriate sanction”.
Was he expecting that to go well for him?

I mean I’m not surprised unfortunately, I’ve met quite a few rugby lads that seem to think locker room talk is their entire personality

Good, he had the free consequences of his free speech. I hope he is never allowed near a rugby pitch again

When I played 20 years ago there were always male players trying to get into our changing rooms. They usually claimed they were ‘lost’, even in their own club.
I was hoping things had changed, but maybe not.

Daft sod. We need to do more to protect women and girls from the daily abuse from this kind of harassment. Why? Because our legal system doesn’t work for us.

Always liked the respect that Rugby Players have for the refs and the Nonsense attitude to conduct. Cuts out nearly all answering back and means the refs at all levels can get on with the job. Would like to see same in all levels of football

What is the world coming to! We can’t even sexually harass women anymore! And then get into trouble and have to face the consequences! Ridiculous!

Can’t wait for someone to explain how yelling ‘get your baps out’ is actually fine because it’s ‘just classic British banter.’

Yeah that will get you a ban. Maybe don’t drink if you can’t behave yourself and use the ban time to ask if that’s how you want someone addressing your mum/wife/girlfriend/sister/daughter when they are trying to do a job…

Now had this been where I’m from, it would have been “get your batch out” which some might say would have landed him in even more trouble.
Those in the North of the County might shout “get your cobs out” which would have sounded ridiculous.
