Gavin Adcock is pretty good at country music — at least there seems to be a growing number of people who think so — but he might be even better at staying in the headlines.

He has created many of those across the past several weeks thanks, in large part, to his brash style, but this one isn’t really his fault. In fact, if Adcock did anything in the situation, he gave a valuable public service announcement.

The singer took to Instagram Saturday night to share a video from a show that he captioned, “What happens when you jump the barricade at a country music concert.”

The former Georgia Southern defensive lineman turned country crooner was onstage talking to the crowd when a man came charging in center stage, knocking over a mic stand along the way. Adcock didn’t really flinch or looked concern as the man raced onto the screen.

Instead, he just kind of side-stepped him.

The star of the show might have been the security guard who came racing in to tackle the stage crasher while locking in what appeared to be a pretty tight rear-naked choke that Dana White would have appreciated.

The video then skipped forward to the man being wrestled offstage by a handful of security guys as Adcock looked on.

“Get his drunk (butt) outta here!” the singer yelled into his mic as the crowd cheered wildly.

“That first security guard has been praying for that moment,” one person responded.

“I was really ready to see that D1 football come back into action,” another wrote.

The Moonshine Bandits responded that it looked like one of their shows.

Nope, just another Gavin Adcock show, which, it appears, are just going to always be pretty rowdy.
