Starting Sunday, temperatures will drop across Greece, while strong winds are expected in the Aegean.
Temperatures will range between 33 and 35°C on the mainland and Crete, around 32°C in the Ionian islands and will not exceed 30°C in most other island regions.
According to the Hellenic National Meteorological Service (EMY), the weather will be mostly clear, with clouds developing over the mainland during midday and afternoon hours. Local showers are expected, mainly in mountainous areas.
Winds are expected to reach force 6 in many areas, while in the Aegean they may locally strengthen to force 7 from midday onwards.
