The constant ChatGPT-isms are nausea inducing. Leaving that aside I wonder how the WFH job market is gonna look like globally in the coming years. It doesn’t seem to be doing too well in my area.
As a manager, I can confirm, the happiest, most productive people on my team are the ones working from home with pets.

this data showing pet ownership going Down in 2020/2021 is a fun choice. not at all sus. breeders couldnt keep up with the wave of covid puppy purchases for years to come, and owners surged, yet this shows nope, went down, bad data?

Makes sense. My dog literally improved my work life balance more than any company perk ever did.
I love wfh. Better for me in every way…
But in person/hybrid is a barrier to offshoring.
The problem is that work from home means companies can hire cheaper workers from other countries much more easily. In-person workers are harder to replace.
