Air Serbia welcomed its three-millionth passenger of the year onboard today. The milestone was achieved six days ahead of 2024. The carrier’s CEO, Jiri Marek, said, “The achieved results clearly show that we are on the right course. Air Serbia is committed to further expansion and continues to invest in the modernisation of its fleet, route network expansion and the improvement of services. Our vision is clear: to be a recognisable and reliable choice for passengers both in the region and beyond”. Air Serbia’s most popular destinations since the start of the year were Tivat and Podgorica within the region, while in Western Europe there was most demand for Paris, Zurich, Barcelona and Frankfurt. In the wider Euro-Mediterranean zone, the most popular flights were to Istanbul, Larnaca and Athens. In long-haul traffic, New York remains the busiest route.
