Malta, NY (WRGB) — The Saratoga Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint on Rockaway Street in Malta on Thursday at 9:00 AM, leading to the arrest of two individuals. 41-year-old Tosha Jerome, and 43-year-old Christopher Terry, both of Malta, were charged with three counts each of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals, as well as failure to provide proper sustenance, all class A misdemeanors.
Jerome and Terry are accused of keeping three Cane Corso dogs in unsafe and unsanitary conditions. The animals were took by the Malta Town Court and are now in the care of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
Jerome and Terry were released on appearance tickets and are awaiting further proceedings in the Malta Town Court.
