On the 23rd of August, The Malta Records paid a visit to the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes in Paola, and a brand new record was set.
The largest fabric-clad pavilion built for a Maltese festa now measures a whopping 19.11 metres, breaking the previous record of just over 17.6 metres, which had stood since 2015.
The impressive structure was created by the Għaqda Nar u Armar Madonna ta’ Lourdes, who were officially recognised for their achievement during the celebrations.
