Kosovo loses 114 million euros on energy – Producers Association blames institutions

The Association of Local Producers has reacted sharply after news that Kosovo has lost 114 million euros from European Union projects dedicated to the energy field, as a result of sanctions imposed by the EU.
Through a reaction on Facebook, the association’s representative, Kushtrim Ajvazi, criticized the country’s institutions for, as he calls it, the failure to safeguard state and economic interests.
“For your information, Kosovo has lost €114 million in energy projects due to EU sanctions. These funds were intended for the development and stability of energy supply,” Ajvazi wrote.
He has rejected the institutions’ reasoning that Kosovo’s entry into the free energy market was a condition from the EU.
“Stop using the excuse that we had a condition from the EU to enter the free market, that it was taken for you,” he concluded.
