>One mother said she had been left “screaming” after discovering her dead son had been put in a baby bouncer “watching cartoons” in Ms Upton’s living room.
What on God’s green earth did I just read? This is the stuff of nightmares.

Story is worse and weirder than the headline implies.

What in the actual fuck? Can’t imagine what those poor women have had to endure

What. *And I can’t quite underline this point enough*. THE FUCK

This country continues to amaze me. “The funeral industry is unregulated in England and Wales. There are no legal requirements about how and where bodies should be stored, and no qualifications are needed to set up as a funeral director.”
What? That sounds insane to me.
We seem to have so many gaps in regulation / enforcement of standards in so many areas of life – it’s like the place js held together by spit and string.

That’s grotesque. Playing dolls with deceased babies.

Amie Upton should be ashamed of herself. What a disgrace to the funeral industry. Fucking mental behaviour

she looks even more insane in the photo than expected. unhinged.

She says she’s only had two complaints, but I wonder if every other family was aware she was taking them home and doing, whatever you’d describe this as, treating them like dolls or whatever. My baby was in a cold cot, and I can tell you now, after a few days, you could tell things were progressing so to speak, I saw him at the funeral directors after that and he looked different again, so I can only imagine how those babies would look without proper care.

The charity facebook page has pictures of dead babies all over it. I feel sick. If anyone less traumatised than my real life issues wants to go report those. I’d encourage it.

I don’t believe there was any malice behind this woman’s intentions but I do think she needs serious psychiatric help. She lost her own baby in 2017 and she clearly has unresolved trauma. It’s a very sad case all round

Most deranged article I’ve read before 6am. Completely confused by the entire thing. It’s like the scene out of a horror film

That was one of the most unsettling things I’ve read on here in a while. Made my stomach turn.
It does sound like the person who was struck off needs some serious help/intervention
Also its high time the industry was regulated properly.
