On August 26, 2025, Serbian Patriarch Porfirije received members of the Byzantine and Ethno Choir Agia Skepi from Agrinio and the parish choir of St. Paraskevi from Athens at the Parish Hall of the Church of Saint Sava in Vračar, Belgrade.

In a warm and heartfelt conversation, Patriarch Porfirije welcomed the guests from Greece, emphasizing that every encounter between Orthodox Christians is a testimony of living faith and brotherly love that transcends borders and languages.

“In the hymnography born in the heart of the Church, the joy of the Resurrection is always recognized, and every note of church chant is a prayer that elevates us toward heaven. With your voices, you bear witness that the Church is one and that in Christ we all speak the same language,” the Patriarch said.

The choirs expressed their gratitude to Serbian Patriarch Porfirije for his blessing and hospitality, performing several spiritual hymns to mark the occasion.
