The Rainbow Energy Potion is a secret item found in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Inside Out Realm, released during the Emotional Rescue update. It should not be confused with the Rainbow Potion that is crafted as part of the Secret Potato Quests – they may have similar names, but they are two very different items!
The Rainbow Energy Potion is a key component needed to craft the Secret Bing Bong Plushie, so you’ll need to find its parts and make it at a Crafting Station if you want to make this adorable plushie your own!
Where To Find The Flashy Diamond
The Flashy Diamond is found in the Headquarters, the room you find yourself in as soon as you enter the Inside Out Realm. From the entrance to the Headquarters, turn right and you will see a blue shelf with a sparkling spot in the center. Interact with the shelf to find the Flashy Diamond inside.
Where To Find The Bright Bulb Lamp
The Bright Bulb Lamp is located in the second area of Long Term Memory Storage. You cannot access this area until you reach the fourth Realm Quest of the Inside Out Realm, “Get Up and Glow!”
From the entrance to Long Term Memory Storage, follow the path straight to the very back of the second area. Then, turn left into the passageway with several Memory Carts against the wall. Head to the end of this passage to find a Routing Controls puzzle that you need to solve.
This Routing Controls puzzle features red, blue, green, and yellow flippers that must be set to the horizontal position. There are three buttons, but the left-most one is unlabeled, so you’ll have to test it out to see what it does.
The solution is as follows:
- Press the right button. The blue flipper switches to vertical, and the red and green to horizontal.
- Press the unlabeled left button. It switches the blue flipper back to horizontal, and the yellow one as well, solving the puzzle!
Once you’ve solved the puzzle, the Bright Bulb is on the floor in the small room beyond.
How To Make And Use The Rainbow Energy Potion
Once you have both the Flashy Diamond and the Bright Bulb, you can combine them into the Rainbow Energy Potion at any Crafting Station. (There is one in Headquarters that you can use!)
However, the Potion is only one part of the recipe for the Bing Bong Plushie. You also need three more items, which can be found in the following locations in the Inside Out Realm:
- Everlasting Cotton Candy – Inside the storage compartment in Headquarters underneath the spiral staircase leading to the second floor (the same storage compartment where you find your Mind Worker Gear during the Quest “Emotional Rescue.”)
- Tiny Bowler Hat – In the first area of Long Term Memory Storage, accessed during the Quest “Out of the Blue.” It is on the ground next to a Memory Cart.
- Tiny Bow Tie – On the Dream Productions stage, accessed during the Quest “Dream On!” It is in a corner just past the stage, next to the potted plants.
Combine these three items and the Rainbow Energy Potion at a Crafting Station and you will unlock the Bing Bong Plushie furniture item!
