    1. Waste of a pilot and a machine. And what for? Cheap show? Or to satisfy egos of politicians and upper rank officers?

Aircrafts that are in active military service should not participate in such events in any other way than being statically displayed.

And everything to provide some cheap entertainment.

It is a fucking disgrace for servicemen to be used in a role of some circus attraction.

      Talented person died for nothing.

Is it possible that he lost consciousness, looked like he pulled a lot of Gs

    3. For what I’ve heard *that kind of accidents* can be caused by lack of training płk Zięć said something about not much of F-16 flight hours.

EDIT: I’ve checked few things. Płk Zięć (in reserve now) said something about 2000h of flight hours of some of that F-16. My calculation says that is maybe 60% of hours planned. Here comes our army readiness. Jet fuel isn’t cheap you know…

This is awful, I saw this pilot and aircraft displaying at RIAT just a month ago. RIP Slab.

Jebac to f16, to tylko kupa metalu, kupi się nowe. Najgorsze, ze nie widac, żeby pilot był w stanie się katapultować. Wyrazy współczucia dla rodziny i żołnierzy.

I’ve been at Radom 2009 Airshow. This crash looks awfully similar to the one where SU-27 pilots died.

This F-16 flew too low, and with that little space below them, this maneuver was doomed to fail. It shouldn’t have happened.

If pilot lacked enough awareness to know better (there are many reasons why they would misjudge if they have enough air below them to succeed, so I don’t blame them – it’s, really, really risky), the tower or whoever was in a ground control role, should have told them to abort the attempt.

It seems Radom airshows have serious safety issues that are not being addressed, and this keeps killing people.

My heart goes out to the family of the pilot, but it also seems to me that it was an unnecessary and avoidable loss of life.

    7. gotta say, pretty amazing that the cameraman didn’t even flinch or say anything when it crashed

they knew exactly what needed to be done and they did it.

Shit the distance he glides he was like centimeters to save himself and the plane. Poor guy! Seriously that must have been what 10 centimeters?

My God, the bomb was going to the ground, but the air was too thin in this heat. The plane simply vanished.
